In my search, on my journey to conviction, I met confusion, called facts. I was enthused and excited by it. I said to myself, "Here, I have arrived." I was perpetually invigorated by the numbness I felt—not the numbers I lacked. I felt as though curiosity had been cured by security. But now, as I approach my best years, winding down my search, I must begin again. The wasted years can only be leaves of grass to grace.
